An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Harlan Law Firm PS collects user information through the contact forms on our website (https://harlanlaw.net/contact-us/). We may also collect information verbally from customers. Harlan Law Firm PS collects opt-in verbally from their customers. Customers may opt in to receive messages either in person at a physical location or over the phone when they call. When a customer is registered for the first time, they are asked to provide a phone number, and staff is trained to ask if the customer would like to opt in to SMS-based billing notifications. They will be verbally informed that “Message and data rates may apply,” “Message frequency may vary,” and they can “text HELP for support or more information and STOP to unsubscribe at any time.” They will also be informed that their phone number will not be shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes.

Text and SMS Service

By providing your phone number to Harlan Law Firm PS, you agree and acknowledge that Harlan Law Firm PS may send text messages to your wireless phone number regarding case details, and ask for the documents, including status updates and reminders for important dates or notifications. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency will vary, and you will be able to Opt-out by replying “STOP” to unsubscribe or “HELP” for further assistance.
Opt-In: By providing your phone number via our contact form, over the phone, or in person, you consent to receive informational text messages from Harlan Law Firm as described above.
Opt-Out: You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying “STOP” to any message received from Harlan Law Firm. After opting out, you will receive a confirmation message and will no longer receive text messages from us unless you opt in again.

How Long We Retain Your Data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
